Marc, Thanks for your test. As we discussed in Dublin, the SATA works at IDE compatible mode now, but it is a sata controller and should wok at ahci mode as reported in LP 737388. So I suggested that you can try to upgrade the BIOS to see if newer version can support to change to AHCI mode.
