I just had this confirmed by my colleague; she tried to install Feisty
but found it ridiculous that we can't create partitions over 200gb in

Yesterday she tried to transfer an mp4 video to the ipod using amarok:
amarok claimed the transfers were completed, would not then allow

I have an identical problem.
Seems it only affects one user at a time, so it can be resolved on my
system by deleting ~/.kde , but that's a ridiculous solution.
I can't quite work out how to reproduce the bug - it manifests after
some multiuser operation eg. adding new user, 2 users use X
simulta
After a failed attempt to load kaffeine, kill it using DCOP.
If unfamiliar with this, then call "kdcop" for a nice GUI, find Kaffeine
in the app list, find quit function and call it.
On my system, next time you call "kaffeine" you'll be OK.

Having seen the ridiculous problems the "system:/" and "media:/"
protocols have caused in MDV & SuSE due to immature implementations, I
would suggest we stay as far away as possible until upstream sorts this
out. Until every app in KDE is properly redesigned to use this
unnecessary abstraction lay
I can confirm the same bug on my system.
in xorg.conf, after running "nvidia-glx-config enable" :
* Device ID for video card becomes incorrect
* Keyboard layout reverts to basic US
Easily fixed with a console text edit using nano, but mildly annoying.
