Can I make a comment on my experience with the Centrino 6235 chip - as

I have installed Ubuntu 13.04 on my Retina Macbook Pro 10,2 13" display
and I find that the booting is unreliable, namely that the machine boots
into a black screen with a cursor about 70% of the boot attempts. About

I found that by reverting to the previous version of the driver will fix
things. It upgraded me to 6.20.155.1+bdcom-0ubuntu6 and my wireless
strength dropped to almost nothing. Downgrading to the 'quantal'
version 5.100.82.112+bdcom-0ubuntu3 fixed it for me, though this is most
certainly a bug.
I appreciate this is not a direct reference to firehol, but I have put

To add, this kernel caused me to pain. On removing it, it failed during
removal an a spontaneous reboot left me with a system that would not
boot as it could not find the kernel.
As it's headless, finally managed to get on an boot to old kernel. When
loaded, completed the removal and rebuild Grub.
Whole host of additional hassle from this, as fstab adjustments were
required (already aware of these from second system on 12.10).

I seem to have found the problem myself.
It was a result of the posting which converted the two greater than symbols to
their html equivalents
Please edit the page to greater than symbols so not-so-clever people
(like myself) can do properly.
