I am still getting this problem. It stops for a while after a reboot,
but this is hardly a solution.
It is making ubuntu unusable for me and, from the sound of it, for
others.
I have now completely re-installed ubuntu 7.04, which caused endless
problems in itself with corruption in the apt list
I get exactly the same problem in a fresh and fully updated version of
feisty. Will reinstall firefox as Rebecca suggested. Perhaps this should
be in the wiki? This is affecting other apps too, such as kontact.

It is a mini PCI card, which is why it's so annoying that I have to do
this every time ubuntu crashes. It requires unscrewing the bottom panel
of the laptop and removing the card. Then I have to reboot without the
card, switch off the laptop, put the card back in and everything works
for a while

This is still broken in 2.6.17. I get random lockups in Edgy. I've got
an atheros card, so lspci -n gives 168c:0013. When I boot I get an

Inkscape has an equation rendering extension that depends on pstoedit.
The code is in the file
/usr/share/inkscape/extensions/eqtexsvg.py
It fails when it uses the -f svg output option in pstoedit. This occurs

If I run adept manager using kdesu -c adept_manager I get no stack trace
(see 73641 for auth_log output in that case). If I run without kdesu I
get this on standard output:

konqueror crashes every time I start it. My wife is simultaneously
running another session (Switch User - Start New Session) in which
konqueror runs perfectly. Here is my debug output
