software version 5.2.5 (869).
Before 18.04, it seemed that they worked identically well.

network-manager-kde package and rebooting. Give that a shot! The

sure which you are trying to use. For me, my ASCII 128-bit option went
away. Why? I don't know, but I now type the HEX PW. If you are using an

Played with the some more... a lot of interesting problems lurking in
different places.
First off, I tried setting my KDE font sizes all to 8. One of them, when
using the gtk2-engines-qtcurve solution, DOES fix the font sizes in GTK
apps. What it does not appear to do is fix the size of text
I am pretty surprised this was never confirmed -- I've read reports of
it all over the internet (though it's possibly an upstream bug). It
happens also on KDE, so it's not just a GNOME thing.
What fixes it is to turn off and on the tray icon a couple of times.

I have the fingerprint reader disappearing and reappearing like the
previous person (I didn't happen to try lsusb over and over before
this). On access, the device seems to connect on lsusb, and a subsequent

One final note: this does NOT appear to be the same as bug 88746 since
unloading ehci_hcd does not seem to make any difference (this is the
reason that you are seeing references to ehci_hcd in the dmesg output).
This is a Dell Latitude D620, a fairly common new model of system.
