Disable the wine repo, you can do it via sources.list or via synaptic.
Just disable and you will be fine.

Is better practice to disable non official repos before trying the
upgrade. The error you are seeing is because a non official repo added
to your sources.list
Try disabling it and then try again.

hmm probably you're right in the sense that is not clearly stated which
one would restart the system. But reading through it, to me Y is the
option to restart the system and N no.
Maybe this is not a real bug??

do-release-upgrade has confusing message about restarting
hmm. did you uninstalled postfix sometime ago?
try to install it again.
sudo apt-get install postfix
after that try upgrading again.
This is probably not a bug, so i'm closing it. If the previous tip

What the reporter is saying is:
When i start ubuntu with the 7.10 kernel the mouse doesn't work, now if
i try the las 7.04 kernel the mouse works fine.
Please provide more information about your mouse and hw specs.

reconfigure question, it was asking for your netwrok device rather thant
your ip address.
you should answer eth0 or whatever network device you have.

sorry for the lack of response from my self.
I still have the same issues, i've noticed that it has something to do
with SSL, so i disabled the prefer SSL setting for IRC, but i still have
issues mainly while i'm closing kopete or closing session.
I'll make further reserch within bugs.kde.org so
I can confirm this. I believe this is a serious showstoppper for
multiuser / multiseat linux environments.
Please take this into account.
