This laptop has a built-in SD/SDHC media reader. (I'm not sure what to
report and post -- other than what 'spider' says already -- that will
identify the hardware and driver specifics.)

suspend:resume.
There is a mechanical button on the left of the ultrabase for end-user to
Request_Undock.
Under win-dose, this causes a request for hibernation and associated power-off

Thinkpad X61-tablet (7764CTO) crash during sleep, hibernate, resume
I'm running both Lucid (v10.04) and Jaunty (v9.04) and have similar
symptoms on both. My hardware is a Lenovo Thinkpad X61-tablet
(7764-CTO).
On suspend:
** screen darkens
** LEDs blink
** rarely do I get a complete spin-down [see note 1 below]
** new moon LED left blinking (power off reboot
Here is a copy of contents from a recent /var/log/syslog. There is more than
one crash and system restart.

Running iwlagn v1.3.27-ks on Lucid (v10.04) I get at least one, if not
several, driver crashes every eight to ten hours. This system runs the
2.6.32-24-generic-pae edition of the linux kernel.
Running iwlagn v1.3.27-ks on Jaunty (v9.04) everything wifi seems to work quite
well.

Specifically, the same driver edition, v1.3.27ks gets used on both Lucid and

I loaded Ubuntu Lucid (v10.04) and now my intel 4965 agn wireless does
not work at all under Linux. It works fine under winXP on the dual boot
side.
I've used 'wavemon' and see reasonable signal strength and other details
for my access points.

I have this same problem, and variations on this problem running Hardy and

Intel 4965AGN wireless card and BOTH wicd and network-manager. (I prefer wicd

Tried to use distro DVD to add packages. Synaptic reported that it could not
find the drive etc.
I used a shell and found /dev/cdrom, /dev/cdrw, /dev/dvd and /dev/dvdrw. I
could use 'ls' to view
the contents of the media. I could use 'eject '
I had suspend-to-ram(sleep) and suspend-to-disk(hibernate) troubles
until I created a swap partition that was large enough to hold all of
RAM. A swap file was not helpful but a partition was.
