I tried to install Ubuntu 9.04 x64 RC using the LiveCD on a E4700, Gigabyte
EP45-UD3P and a Radeon 4670.
The LiveCD boots, then I select the language(Spanish), then the Ubuntu
loading logo appears ( with the red progress bar )... then the screen goes
black and hangs.
The Spanish translation translates Network as Rojo. I guess it is a
double translation from Network to Red, and then Red (Spanish for
network) gets translated again to Rojo. Really funny, and revealing of
the translation quality.

i disabled the plugins and noticed that all was the same the first

Testing Xubuntu Jaunty Alpha 5, I tried to print something, but my HP Deskjet
F4180 is not listed on the printers list.
Using lsusb I can see it's detected:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 03f0:7e04 Hewlett-Packard Deskjet F4100 Printer series
When I tried
i was googeling because ia have a ZTE MF626 USB modem and i already
tried usb_modeswitch and modprobe usbserial and everithing worked
fine... but the modem disconnected after 2 or 3 minutes... sometimes
longer connections... may be signal... but the thing is that i sonetimes
unplugged the device
i aslo tried wdial to get connected to the modem but it disconnects
after a few seconds... the device continues to be ejected or some... and
i cant connect to the web...
please give a solution,
another question... is this bug also in Jaunty?

ZTE MF626 USB modem not recognized by
i reinstalled ubuntu intrepid 32bit from zero and the issue is gone...
Another bug of similar behavior is that when having openoffice word opened and
writing something, if i unplugg the wireless USB mouse, openoffice help center
starts like 80 times... i.e. opens 80 help windows one after the

Another thing... after connecting the device... two minutes later... it
spontaneously disconnected... this is the dmesg
(here i plugged the modem...)

i wanted to comment that Evolution shows wrong Unread messages in the
taskbar... it says Inbox 1 Unread message and when i go there, is no new
message... this is very elementary and should be fixed... also when
moving new messages from inbox to another folder, the bold 1 Unread
mail, still persist
i uploaded another screenshot running metacity with the compositing
option enabled. This was catched when switching from virtual desktops...
as you can see in this screenshot, the messages list is distorted and
that distortion is contaminated with the window that was below
evolution, that is
