It happened just yesterday with the Java package, I cannot know if other

To add the partner repository and look for adobe-flashplugin IS NOT AN
USER-FRIENDLY SOLUTION!
We cannot even advice user to install the extras packages because it will
install flash-plugin 32 bits!

I have a Dell xps 1530, Kubuntu 10.04 freshly installed and updated, and after
a while it started to give again this problem.
On the boot, before the splash logo, I get 20-30 seconds of repeated messages
like:
iwl3945 :0b:00.0: MAC is in deep sleep!

The fix didn't fix fully the problem on kubuntu 10.04 64bit. Now the screen is
at 1024*768 (or something similar), but it still ugly on a 1440*900 panel for
example.
I think that manual workaround cannot be considered a solution for the mass
public, which can fix it only through an official
Kubuntu 10.04 64bit, fresh install.
Kpackagekit fails to install sun-java6 packages, after having added the
repository partner (I cannot understand why they moved java
outside..when they know perfectly well that openJdk crashes every
two seconds.)
However, Kpackage was not able to download

We cannot ask every single user to follow a workaroundunthinkable.

I notice that firefox added other informations but I don't know what

After a lot of crashes and problems, I decided to format and make a fresh
installation of Kubuntu 9.10. Now it works really well without any problem, a
completely different system.
I could say that the real bug is the upgrade from a previous version to a new
