basically there is some bad pointer arithmetic going on in that
wx.Button call (which is of course a wrapper for the real wxWidgets call).
(it crashes when you press the button)
HTH,
Alon
p.s. The 3 first lines from the stack trace:
*** glibc detected *** python: munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer
sorry - libglib, not libg.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-mouse
Mouse wheel worked OK under 6.10
Under 7.04, wheel causes mouse cursor to jump around the screen, on X
axis (instead of reporting Z Axis motion)
Input section in xorg.conf:
Section InputDevice
Identifier Configured
Some more investigation pinpointed the problem to the kernel, not the X
mouse driver.
In kernel 2.6.17 (which I had in 6.10), dmesg lines related to the mouse were
[17179572.484000] mice: PS/2 mouse device common for all mice
[17179592.04] logips2pp: Detected unknown logitech mouse model 56
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: hplip
After installing libsane, my configured printer (which uses hplip) stopped
working.
The printer in question is a multifunction HP PSC-750 (a combined printer and
scanner).
I have tracked the issue to a permissions problem:
* Package hplip
