This is affecting all Indic Languages .
to be done : ttf-indic-fonts and all subpackages need to be replaced with
fonts-indic and subpackages .
For Malayalam : fonts-smc need to be used instead of ttf-malayalam-
fonts
Packages are already in debian upst
restarted the Network Manager several times.

and kubundu 12.04 shows occational hanging problem. some times a squre
with dots appear around the mouse cursor and system freezes. On reboot

changed to fonts-indic. This is meta package and all packages
ttf-[language]-fonts renamed to fonts-[script/foundry]. In addition to this all
fonts were updated to latest versions from upstreams.
Also many fonts are updated to newer versions . and solves many existing bugs .
eg. ttf-malayalam-fonts (new name is fonts-smc) solves Bug no. #515607

I have Empathy on Ubuntu 10.04
I have tried logging into a Gizmo5 account and yet unable to make Voice Calls.
Voice Call menu for the SIP id is still greyed out.

the installation of ubuntu 9.04 i partitioned and formatted nearly
one-third of the hdd capacity in ext3 file system and the mount point
was given(typed, as it wasn't in the list)
in windows partitions (which is flexible) i can create partition in
any name and can be monitored or analysed for usage or
representation/navigation style is also more user friendly.

This bug is not related to ttf-indic-fonts
It must be related to rendering engine used in OpenJDK. Can anyone
check the rendering engine
ttf-indic-fonts work well with current versions of pango, QT & ICU
without any problems. so it must be an issue with rendering engine
used in netbeans

I think it is an Rendering engine issue. Netbeans seems to have taken
code from an Old Version of ICU .
