I experience the same, in a 13.04 Lenovo Thinkpad X201s with i915
graphics. Updated but not upgraded to 13.10. Latest BIOS flashed
yesterday. Problem existed before and after flashing.

and login/restart from there. Also, while frozen, ctrl+alt+backspace
works to log me off (I have enabled it in the settings).

Changing the width of the indicator-multiload to 30 pixels does not help.
Increasing the update interval makes things worse.
This has been around since May-2011. Too bad it's still untackled...

When I take my (thinkpad) laptop off AC power, I hear the AC-
disconnected sound, but battery-indicator is not updated. Estimation is
not shown, and the icon remains unchanged, it's as if it's still on AC.
In order to restore normal operation I have to click on the icon,
#87 fixed it for me! Thanks. It should be implemented upstream though...

this, like I do:
Add the line killall -9 NetworkManager in file /usr/lib/pm-

Running 2.32.0-0ubuntu12.1 on 11.04, the problem still exists!
Also, sporadically it causes the kernel to panic (I suspect). Computer
is unresponsive, even Alt+PrtSc+S,U,B does not work, and caps lock light
flashes forever. Battery/plug pull is needed.

Hello, I'm experiencing the same annoying bug!
I went ahead and installed dbgsym package of nautilus (nautilus-dbgsym) and did
the backtrace.
Instead of crashing (which is normal when cut-pasting to an sftp
location) nautilus hangs. I'm not sure why this happens, but it happens
only if I run it

Tested it on Jaunty Alpha 5 Live cd and can't reproduce.
