I used hd-media boot.img with Easy2Boot USB hdd. There is a lot of images on
(more than 10) disk, but installer fails to scan them. If I open console with
Alt+F2, the partition with images already mounted in /hd-media like as AndreiF

I can reproduce this problem by logging out and logging in with the external
screen attached. Compiz chokes the computer running at around 150% CPU usage
alone.
If I unplug the external screen the laptop seems to get largely back to normal.

the CPU (dual CPU). My system was running really well now it is very
very slow.
More investigation - significant improvement after rediscovering the
external screen. Still have rather high compliz cpu usage with the
external screen connected. I will update when I have more.

A day or so after updating the BIOS performance returned to what it was

I think I have a workaround for this problem by putting
UID_MIN 999
into /etc/gdm/custom.conf
This seems fragile since I am not sure the interaction of
accountsservices and custom.conf is stable or documented but it appears

I have attached 3 simple A5 documents one in portrait format, one in landscape
and the screen prints from the print dialogue I see when I start a print.
As can be seen the landscape a5 is not correctly processed
Custom size paper slightly smaller than a5 (width 20cm height 12 cm) is
correctly
