Guys, I have the same problem. I have HP Laser Jet 1010 printer. It
works correctly with text documents, such as doc, docx and e.t.c. But it
prints just several lines from the top of the paper shit if I try to

subunquity installer, I set up the network, it reports that the settings
are not correct, I don't know why they are not correct, see the

The latest kernel from yakkety-proposed does not appear to fix the
problem. Note that I did test it on Xenial, not Yakkety, because I do
not have an easy way to reproduce the bug that excercises rate-limited
printk on Yakkety.
I made sure that the proposed kernel was used by comparing what is
** Tags removed: verification-needed-yakkety
** Tags added: verification-failed-yakkety

PowerNV: No rate limit for kernel error "KVM
It is simply an awful design decision and I am so pissed off to see that
there has been no activity on this bug although at all it has been
discussed by so many people on different forums lately. I really hope
this will be fixed in 17.04, otherwise I will have to consider switching
from Ubuntu
I can confirm this, have the same behaviour on my new Dell XPS 15 9560.
So sad to see this still hasn't been fixed...

strk, are you upgrading the package or installing it fresh? I've seen a
couple of times libvirt package did fail to update because of service
restart failure. I did work around it by 'pkill -f libvirtd' before the
upgrade.

I just had the same symptoms after upgrading Ubuntu 16.04 OpenStack
Mitaka cluster packages to latest. Some servers had no problems. Very
few had the "Failed to connect socket" error when you try to e.g. 'virsh
list --all'. Note that libvirtd itself did start, and had no apparent
errors. Package
