Unfortunately, i had numorous other random segfaults for window
decorations in Unity, and I needed a working desktop. I am now using
Xubuntu 11.10 and it is working fine so far. Lid close/open WORKS (when
set to lock screen)
Suspend/resume also works so far on Xubuntu too. Resume would not always
Temporary solution is to log in to tty1 and restart lightdm
sudo service restart lightdm

Using Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit, Firefox crashes related to clipboard. If a
bookmark is clicked after using Ctrl+c or Ctrl+v in Matlab, Firefox
closes. If clipboard is used last by Firefox (Ctrl+c or Ctrl+v) all is
fine. Profile renewal does not help.

I have the same problem here. I have Intel Core2Duo E6550, 2x1GB of RAM and
Gainward 7600GT SilentFX PCI-x video card. First when I had drivers from Gutsy
repos, the freez was not complite (I could move my mouse cursor), but when I
installed 169.09 drivers with envy, I had a complite freezes. I
I have this problem too. I have Leadtek winfast 2000/XP Expert, and when
I unload cx8800 module, the CPU usage is 0%, but when the module is
loaded, CPU usage is 30%. Please fix this.
