I had been using a PlayStation gamepad on PCSX for a while on Ubuntu
14.04, but realized it stopped working by the end of May.
The controller is detected by lsusb on Terminal, but it does not appear
in PCSX or jstest-gtk.

Fortunately, it was fixed by installing German (legacy) layout.

P.S.: I'm a little confused. I know the iwlfifi driver is not in linux-
image-generic*, but in linux-image-extra-*. Does this mean that the
driver will remain the same? Is your assessment, then, that the problem

and use Firefox starts the first freeze, and the whole system starts to
become extremely slow. If I try to close Firefox and reopen it back,
says there is an open process that I must close. In No Add-ons

I just want to make this workaround clear.
The commenters having problems should make sure apache2 is running with
mpm-prefork worker before trying to install mpm-itk. The workaround for
my servers may or may not solve the problem for you. It's just four
lines at the at root command prompt.
I have added the changes after test in trusty.
