I'm running Ubuntu 14.10. I installed MySQL workbench from the Ubuntu
Software Center. It delivered version 6.1 which has the bug described in
this issue. I got the errors described in this issue when I tried to
connect over SSH.
The patch did not work for me because the files needing patching
Same with a Dell PowerEdge T630.
The workaround works fine but windows control is not smooth as with a standard
2-D video card.

Thanks for the response , a couple of updates
FIrst of all, The same error occurs during regular installation of 11.04 (from
a CD, even without WUBI)
The same error DOESNT occur in 10.04 (Installed it yesterday without a problem)
llspci reurns the following in the VGA line
Just so you'll know, I've upgraded 10.04 - 10.10 - 11.04 And now its
working...
I couldn't get it to install directly from the 11.04 CD though

In this version, qct depends on package git -- GNU Interactive Tools
-- as an alternative to mercurial, svn etc.
It seems like the intended dependency was git-core, which is the package
for the SCM tool named git.
No, I meant that I had found a version of an old network.pl in my system
and had thought it was modern.
I've taken another short look at system-tool-backends, and found
ensure_loopback_statichost in line 329 of Network/hosts.pm. If that
function is called with the hostname, it still does what
to localhost, and there is no check for other appearances
of hostname, as far as I can read Perl).

sensible-browser specifically checks for gnome, and tries to use gnome-
www-browser; it has no checks for KDE (or XFCE or LDXE or anything
else), so under KDE, it falls to x-www-browser.
x-www-browser has 3 options on my system: konqueror
I also have the wretched Optiplex 320. hpet=disable was enough to get it
to boot, but not enough to make it play sounds. When I also add noacpi
pci=noacpi all_generic_ide I do get sound. I'm not sure what these do
-- I suspect the first two are synonymous and the third does nothing of
value -- but
Actually, I was able to find an acceptable workaround -- I set the Power
Manager (runs in the systray by default, at least in Kubuntu) to
hibernate whenever the lid is closed; this seems to work nicely. When I
re-open, I need to wait a little for the system to wake up, but I'm not
forced to close
, the kioslaves problem is only in the host.

configure.in file which uses a macro AM_PROG_LIBTOOL. This macro is only
