As this is really an annoying bug I disabled autofs completely and am
trying systemd automounter instead again. Without further support by
systemd units and NetworkManager dispatcher scripts, gdm3 hangs after
suspend/resume when

I'd like to but there is an issue with apport-collect.
apport-collect 1874835 throws an error "ERROR: The python3-launchpadlib
package is not installed. This functionality is not available." But it
is installed:
apport2.20.9-0ubuntu7.14
apport-gtk2.20.9-0ubuntu

Whether I am using autofs or systemd automount units to mount network
shares (mainly cifs), gdm3 hangs regularly as soon my notebook returns
from suspend mode and the user enters their password.
With automount being disabled gdm3 doesn't hang.

start autofs again after resume. I haven't had any freezes with gdm3
anymore. But there is still a difference between Ethernet and Wifi. When

S2 instead of S3 didn't resolve the freezing too - took some time for
the freezing to occur again. I stumbled across autofs and quick tests
suggest with autofs turned off the freezing is gone.
Is anybody else who is facing the freezing using autofs (or systemd's

Still weird. The only Gnome extensions active are the follwoing ones

Ok, very weird. Removing just GSConnect (**) didn't help after all. I also had
to remove:

It seems it's the Gnome extension GSConnect

Have the same issue for quite some time. Couldn't find any pattern yet.
Also have the impression gdm is waiting for something. It happens for me
when I am on Ethnernet as well when on wifi.
Have Dell XPS13 with Ubuntu 18.04.2, kernel 4.18.0-25-generic.

Forgot to mention: I only experinece this issue for the last few days.
Didn't have this issue before and I've been using deep sleep from the
beginning when I installed Ubuntu 18.04 myself. The only thing beside
Ubuntu package updates that occured some days ago is a BIOS update to
1.6.3 on the XPS 9
I am on Ubuntu 18.04 with kernel 4.18.0-13-generic and still have the
disappearing bluetooth issue. Reboot doesn't help, need to powercycle
the XPS 9370.

In my case seahorse-tool doesn't work as well (neither on command line
nor nautilus) - it starts and shows keys to select but doesn't encrypt
or decrypt files.
If I kill seahorse-daemon I can run seahorse again but seahorse-tool

Again checked all USB-ports. Thumbdrive gets only detected as USB2 device

There is a user reporting the USB3 issue got fixed in 2.6.37-rc5
(http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1642641). I checked both Lucid
kernels 2.6.37-12 and 2.6.38-1 and the error still occured.
