Symptoms are the same as #1508146 (but I'm not sure it's the same
cause).
alt+left/right sends me to another tty (terminal shell). Although I'm still
trying to determine if its window manager / keymapper kind of issue or what. I
use ubuntu because I don't typically like to get to this level.
Thankyou Oliver that worked.

It is so disappointing that this is not fixed 6 months after it was

editor, and more unusable.

I've given up using Linux/Ubuntu because of this one bug. I need to use
a Bluetooth headset. I cannot be wired to my desk all day. It's a shame
this is not taken seriously as it has caused me to go back to windows.
This should be treated as a major issue as it has caused me and possibly
others to
I can confirm I have this issue as well on 14.04 and 16.04 with the
latest kernel.
Removing the DVD drive does fix the issue, however if they are online it
also causes the VMs to run out of memory, same as if they are being
backed up.
I used the following PowerShell script to remove all drives
Second Dominik's post as not fixed. The hidden files are showing in
Nautilus on 16.04 by default and when changed back do not stay like
that.
My thanks to him, his suggested fix via Firefox Save dialog worked for
me - I have tried many of the older suggestions - including resetting
nautilus
Sounds likely to be this issue:

I can go ahead and release a GLEW 2.0.1 (bugfix release) if it's likely
to be promptly downstreamed.

As the GLEW maintainer my suggestion would be to only continue with MX
packages for GLEW 1.13. There is no good reason to continue using GLEW
1.x aside from the MX multi-thread, multi-context support.

No one seems to care about this. I stopped using kubuntu and have went
back to Windows 10. Far too many issues with that release, this was just
one of them.
