gmusicbrowser crashes on close

You were right, the crash happens after gmusicbrowser writes gmbrc files.
It displays
Writing tags in ~/.config/gmusicbrowser/gmbrc ...
Writing tags in ~/.config/gmusicbrowser/gmbrc ... done
Then crashes.
So it's probably the same bug as the one you linked.

The crash doesn't happen all the time so that could expain why you think it
