thanx for your prompt reply... update-manager-core *is* actually
0.59.25... I was about to try the -m server stuff when I noticed that
my ^R was showing do-release-upgrade /without/ the sudo... it turns out
that doing that actually asked me for the password at some point, but
that was only

It was a permissions problem 'cause I forgot to sudo.

It should be 0.59.25 from feisty-updates. If you are up-to-date, I would be
interessed if it helps if you run:
$ sudo do-release-upgrade -m server
