The 64-bit version of flash is stable, and it appears to be getting released alongside updates to the 32-bit versions, so I really don't see why Ubuntu still insists on provides 64-bit Ubuntu users with the 32-bit plugin and nspluginwrapper, which has been broken for at least the last 3 releases

This still happens very regularly. Flash apps will work for a period of time, and then at some point cross a threshold, at which point they will crash continue to crash until firefox is fully restarted. The unreliability is terrible - it's a major impediment to Ubuntu being a reliable desktop
