I don't know what caused the issue either, might have been a package
mirror out of sync, but it is hard to tell.

(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdeconnect/1.4-0ubuntu5) and
I was able to install it without any issues on Ubuntu 20.04.
