I was using 9.04 x64 when I noticed that FireFox was crashing randomly, and I
mean randomly, facebook, google, jimmyr or doing nothing, not even sitting at
the computer.
So I figured it was an x64 problem and reinstalled x32 (still have x64 for
screwing with), so now I am getting just as many
I fixed my problem by removing WINS resolution in samba config. I found
it on an another bugreport, but don't remember which, I'm sorry.

downloading a new email from a pop3 server. what happens is that
thunderbird will completely freeze. there is no error or anything but
the program stops responding and i have to force the application to
close. i've

Just found out that the crush only happened when using University
internet. At home, everything is OK. Seems that the crush is related to

I have a similar problem starting Feb, 2009. My problem is that whenever
TB and evolution check for new emails automatic and actually found new
emails on the server, the program crush. The symptom is that the screen
suddenly turn black and then the ubuntu login screen show up within a
few seconds.
