Chistopher, I've been trying hard to capture *any* useful output, but it
seems I can't get anything:
- using linux-crashdump is no good. There's no kernel oops, the system freezes
during startup and cannot be reactivated. The backup kernel does not even boot.
- there is no /var/log/kern.log
