Here's another datapoint: The original word documents in which the
images were placed were pasted into the document on a PC, then put on a
USB stick and brought over to my linux box for making into PDF. The
images were there when I opened the documents on linux but disappeared
as soon as the

I am trying to install Feisty on a Dell Optiplex 745 with a Radeon X1300 Pro.

Someone intimate with grub and kernel-loading has to chime in here. The
only thing I can suggest is to try different versions of grub in order
to isolate the issue. I built the old 0.97-20 Debian version, please try
it. It has no Ubuntu patches like for instance for usplash support. It

I got usb flash and card reader trouble under fresh install of 7.04. And even
an update to a newer kernel 2.6.21-5 does not help. modprobe -r ehci_hcd gives

- on Removing kernel module: kernel panic
- After long time heavy network load (bittorrent, but not websurfing) kernel
panic

I got the same problem with an external USB hard drive on Ubuntu Feisty
7.04.
Most of the time all is OK : mount, copy / moving of files, unmount.
But one time (I never had that on Edgy), on the Nautilus right menu,
instead of Unmount command, I had Eject.
When i tried it, hard drive
Received the error on reboot, had been trying to set up samba
connections to a windows file server.

Sorry, it's work in Firefox but not in Swiftfox.
When i change theme in Firefox to one of the set it's work fine in Firefox, but
Swiftfox display the default theme.
