I downloaded kvpnc and cannot reproduce it, for I connect without
problems (well, it took me half an hour to connect, but that is due to
kvpnc interface being horrible, at least from a person who thinks GNOME

I just found out that setting AUDIODEV to -1000 (according to my user-id)
results in problems when using sdl with alsa as sound backend. Zsnes for

I have a Toshiba Tecra M3 laptop running Ubuntu Gutsy. I have installed
the patches in bug #139045 in order to fix the suspend issue and this
works when the machine is undocked but the machine does not suspend when
docked.
On the
dmidecode and lspci are both identical between the docked and undocked
states should read dmidecode and lsmod are both identical between the
docked and undocked states. The diff I provided was for lspci -vv.

I can confirm this issue.
Battery life is significantly reduced in Gutsy when comparing with other
operating systems, such as Windows XP. In my case I can get 5 hours of work on
my battery using Windows and 3,5 hours on Gutsy. This prevents me from using
Gutsy when running on battery power.
