This is not a well-documented bug report. If you feel features are
missing, please file a request with a documented description of how the
feature would work. You can right click on a file to get an option to
"Open With Other Application..." There is a Send To option in the
context menu as well.

I ran it in sudo Nautilus and it worked fine. Got a message that an older more
supported version was in the repo, but that's to be expected :)

I have installed the latest linux-ubuntu-modules from gutsy-proposed and

Yesterday I stopped mysqld through the init.d script, which worked, because
there was no listener active, no socketfile, and init.d/mysql status said:

Well Flash was recently updated while the installer package was not and it
simply can't recognize the new version.
There is an updated version in Hardy but due to dependency problems it won't do
us no good.
As a temporary measure you can use the Debian updated packages available here:

I would like an automatic umount/remount of the floppy drive to install windows
programs from
multiple floppies.
I installed Quicken 4 in wine. The installation stopped with the 2nd floppy.

UPDATE: My problem turned out to be a crummy PCI wireless 802.11g card -
LevelOne WNC-0300 (Atheros chipset, madwifi driver). Twiddling with acpi
had no effect, but removing the card solved the problem.

I tested the current (2008-01-21) live cd from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/ . dmesg reportet no debounce failure. WLAN and Bluetooth
are identified correct. So I think the problem is solved for my
notebook. From time to time I will check if the debounce failure will
come back.

I have this bug too. It doesn't happen with all apps either, evolution
and firefox behave themselves.
It's easy to reproduce:
1. Open Deluge/Pan/Filezilla/GQView (there are many more apps that it happens
in).
2. Maximize the window.
3. Close Application
4. Open the same application, the window s

paper and on Hardy (snapshot 01-21-08) it makes a big blob where I
