interestingly enough, when booting my Toshiba Tecra M9 off the current hardy
live cd most hotkeys do smth.
Audio mute works, brightness up/down works (when not using nvidia drivers).
Bluetooth e. g. does not work where it did ootb on gutsy.
FnFx might work, but I doubt it as toshset does not

I don't want to revive any flamewars, but I want everyone to note a specific
thing about licensing:
Launchpad is a web service. Even if it were open source (under GPL, or even
BSD), it's source could still be kept secret because Launchpad is _not
distributed_.
Same goes for Sourceforge or
Maybe this is not openchrome but hardware-detection bug? If I select safe
driver from live-cd boot menu, resolution is 800x600, not 1024x768.
Who can fix the problem? Ubuntu Hardy will be useless in many VIA-laptops
before that.

I also ran into this problem, on 7.10 (desktop). I already had the mac address
set in the guest configuration file, but networking didn't work in the guest.
I finally got it to work by applying Todd Deshane's workaround of removing
network-manager and adding

iface eth0 inet dhcp
