I experience the same problem. Camera is a Olympus C-500 Zoom. Under
Edgy the camera was detected as a C-370Z and worked perfectly with
digikam. Feisty worked as well after removing gphoto2 from udev rules.

Confirmed this fixes it for me too. Has anyone with this issue tried
running a copy of hardy from a liveCD to determine if this is an upgrade
only bug or something set wrong by default in Hardy that needs fixing? I
don't have time to do it myself at the moment.

Hardy Heron boot error
Hi Guys,
I assume this is still an issue with Hardy Final. Is there anything
else output along with that message? Would you be able to boot with the
quiet and splash options removed (or boot in the recovery mode) and

Well, I'm totally bewildered.
Today I tried to install Kubuntu 8.04 again, on the same hardware and with the
same CDs. Everything worked fine this time. On this occasion, after usplash
screen the monitor goes off only about 3 seconds but then load correctly the X.

I have managed to fix most of the problems with the images not been
displayed. The site http://www.lyx.org/AdditionalSoftware recommends
some additional packages for LyX. I added the ImageMagick package and
some additional TeXLive packages (the texlive metapackage) from synaptic
package manager.
What version of soundconverter are you using? It's possibly just an
issue with the display of the progress bar as mentioned in bug #104450.
Try converting just a single file. If you wait for 10min, does it
convert, or is it still blocked?

Hi.
wtt the hanging; I never had a hang or any other issue with it until
