Compile using the gcc compiler which is in most Linux distributions by default.
The program is simple. It looks to your /dev/raw1394 device (firewire
device on linux) for a mpeg2 stream. If it sees one then it
i can confirm that firefox-2 will be removed in this cycle. so we could

Luke, I had the the latest 0.9.10-2ubuntu6 along with other updates on
the system and that is when I found this issue. So after downgrading
alsa-utils and alsa-plugins, which didn't work I downgraded pulseadudio
and found that my setup worked again.

I have a printer (Samsung ML-2010) shared via a ubuntu 8.04 box. When I
installed it in intreprid it gave me a dialog I had to install
rastertospl2 before printing (Installation did finish). I tried to
install it but it is not in the repos.

Hi,
Sorry about the delay in response. I am no longer getting Kinfocenter
crashes. I was able to build the index recently. I am not sure what
Intrepid is. System is up to date with software updates.
