After upgrading 8.04 -- 8.10, file writes via CIFS have been broken.
CIFS normally reads or creates files, but it fails to write into existing file.

I had to add the missing jar tomcat-dbcp.jar manually copied from another

After adding it was successfully loading datasource settings.

I am using an Acer Aspire 1352XC with kernel 2.6.27-7-generic, ubuntu
8.10. I too experience that sometimes (say 1 out of 5 times) the
keyboard is dead after a resume from suspend. The touchpad is working

I am a EEE 901 user with Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex (v8.10).
GoogleEarth was properly working on Xandros, but it goes horribly slow
in Ubuntu, and I don't know why.
I followed with NO LUCK these instructions (that I think are for a eee 701, a
less powerfull machine):
