I believe I am affected by this bug as well. Burned DATA DVDs can't
seem to be mounted. I have tested kernel 2.6.27-7 and 2.6.27-11 on
Intrepid. Blank DVDs are seen normally and I have no trouble burning.
However, once they are burned, they can't be mounted. I have tested
several brands of

I am having a similar issue with DVDs that I burned with Ubuntu. I am
adding this note because it might be related.
DVDs that I burned with Ubuntu cannot be mounted. I have tested this

Ok Jason, thanks but this didn't work..
I've been triying everything but one thing:
I succeeded in compiling a custom kernel with amd74xx included, and my
problem is now solved. It took me a few tries, though
I need to compile my own kernel by myself, just tell me how to do it, i
dont need your
