Yes, of course libxine1-ffmpeg is installed. Up until a few months ago,
xine was able to view mpeg files without problem. Something changed
recently that broke it for mpg files.
Attached is a short mpg that plays fine with vlc or mplayer. If I try to
play it with xine, it crashes X --
