I did testing on this yesterday, and can confirm that my T500 only fails
to resume from suspend when the power adapter was inserted before
suspend, and is removing before the computer resumes from sleep.

I tried a USB lice CD of the Ubuntu 9.10 beta. As soon as I chose the

Tried to connect from Windows Mobile side of Shift with pocket putty to

link that maps filesystem entries to block devices, it may help shed
some light on why cryptsetup thinks it needs to do something at boot

I'm assuming from your comments that this bug is not in udev, but in blkid, so
I'm changing the package to util-linux
