B) ensure that when you boot there is no command insmod ntfs. Press e at
the grub boot menu to edit the relevant entry and remove insmod ntfs

Currently it's not possible to do this, because all disk devices have the same
ownership permissions.
If you want such a feature, you might better ask that to the udev developers or

Also, I don't think everybody should be able to partition every external

The icon should certainly be at least moved, as the System Tools menu is
not used by any other applications in the default install, so only
appears because of byobu being there. I would suggest that if the
application is to remain exposed, I would move it to the Accessories
menu, and/or replace

Agostino #210, I'm about to try your patch. For background, I installed
wubi 9.10 on Windows 7 Starter a few weeks ago, and just did an update
that caused the kernel panic bug tonight. However, the boot process
gives me the option of booting an older kernel (.14 rather than .16
which panics) so
I replaced C:\wubildr with the file attached in #90 and that fixes the problem
for me.

Hey fellas! 64bit works just fine with my NC6400. Audio sometimes stops
working only because it goes on Mute or the volume goes to the lowest
sometimes, it may a bug or something but after you are completely logged
in and turn the Volume up or unmute it, it you should be fine.
