Just tested the default OpenSSL package (0.9.8k-7ubuntu8) on Ubuntu
Server 10.04 LTS 64 bit installed on a DELL XS11-VX8 alias Fortuna

Files with spaces in names have only the portion up to first space in
the name in Commit display. Screenshot included.
How to reproduce:

I see the misidentification problem on a Lenovo ThinkPad T61.
The Windows Recovery Partition is identified as Windows Vista, the
Windows Vista Partition as Windows Recovery Environment.

rename the generic fsync implementations
We don't name our generic fsync implementations very well currently.
The no-op

and rebuiilding dkms module seems to work, dont know how if/how this is
done upstream though

It's easily reproducible on my hardware, just insert a Lucid LiveCD and
look at dmesg output, thus I put this bug status to Confirmed. And one
more thing: S.M.A.R.T. status is ok, I get this errors just on Lucid!
