Confirming this issue and switching status as per comments by others:
the CPU frequency is certainly not a matter of opinion. Also changing it
to affect the kernel, as that is where the problem lies (/proc/cpuinfo
displays incorrect information). It seems to have nothing to do with

I have the same issue with sudo not obeying ctrl+c.
However, I don't think that winbind is the reason why. I use a fingerprint
reader so I had to add my own auth line.

Clean install of Maverick beta. Tryed playing with alsamixer ,
mutting/unmutting various things, and it didn't work. I only get audio

I think that its too late, i was trying to partition my hard drive with
windows xp on it, and when i went to change the size of the partition i
canceled before it was complete. After i canceled, the system froze and i
restarted the computer without checking to see if the windows partition was
on
@Omer that's the point. If you go to the tweet itself - it's fine. URL
is passed through bit.ly. Something unwraps the url, making it longer
and more safe (as you can see where it leads), but also preventing it
from being navigable.
Same also happens say if we have url like
@Darren It's more of a rendering logic issue, rather then actual code bug, IMHO.
I will do what you ask, however.
