about it. Basically it seems debian stopped shipping the mibs due to
potential legal reasons, but there is a package that will download them

Sorry, running tomcat6-instance-create as root, solved the issue. But I
believe, it should have displayed an error that I need to run the server
as root in order to bind to a port less than 1024, rather than stupidly
say server started.

In my case, I have ntpd running on my router running 10.04.2.
It appears ntpd is only complaining about interfaces that have both IPv4 and
IPv6 addresses at the same time.
My lan interface (eth0) has both and ntpd is complaining.
It isn't complaining about interface 'i6' which is my IPv6 tunnel

with minimal changes. They are available in my PPA, but i'd love to file
the appropriate bugs and so on if I only knew what to report and where.

Mousewheel scrolling is broken on 10.04 x86_64 LTS Desktop with PS/2 mouse
after upgrading from 2.6.32-28-generic to 2.6.32-29-generic.
Booting with the old kernel (2.6.32-28-generic) fixes the problem.

To clarify, Dropbox's indicator menu works fine in Maverick. In Natty,
it sounds like it isn't detecting that the indicator-applet is present,
so it falls back to adding a notification area applet, which doesn't
display in Natty. If Dropbox's indicator-applet detection has broken
from Maverick to
PLEASE add at least this option, just as it was for the classic gnome task-bar.
that's exactly the reason I don't use the netbook edition on my netbook:
i'm used to have 6 workspaces (2 private, 4 for my job) and I really like not
being distracted by anything going on on the other workspaces. it

Confirming Tim's report: the issue remains unsolved on my T400
also with kernel 2.6.35-27.
