[Bug 800656] [NEW] Update Manager can not proceed if there is a lock on /etc
Public bug reported: Somehow, there was a bzr lock on /etc when Update Manager did its daily update of my Natty machine today. Re: [Bug 787091] Re: Unable to use USB device in KVM quest
Serge, I would add that the system runs on software raid with LVM2 and it would seem that simply taking a full backup and restoring after trying alternative Kernel. is also non-trivial. Looks like this actually a dbconfig issue, I added the package from Maverick (dbconfig-common_1.8.46) and it seems to be fixed. [Bug 800817] [NEW] Changing VNET_SUBNET in eucalyptus.conf has no effect
Public bug reported: Uncommenting and changing VNET_SUBNET in eucalyptus.conf has no effect. Even after clean restart of eucalyptus-cloud and eucalyptus-cc, the virtuall Machines still get IP from old subnet 172.19.0.0. The only way to change this is to edit eucalyptus.local.conf. Since eucalyptus.local.conf should not be changed directly, there is no ordinary way to change subnet used in cloud systems. [Bug 800824] [NEW] cloud-init-nonet times out in lxc
Public bug reported: running an ubuntu cloud image under lxc will time out on network. There has been lots of discussion on this, most recently in IRC on ubuntu-cloud [1]. From memory, this is due to virtual-filesystems coming up after mounted=/ on lxc. Because of that udev does not start, which means the network device event never occurs which would bring up the network. The result is that the instance boots, but times out for 70 seconds, and cloud-init doesn't do anything. -- [1] http://irclogs.ubuntu.com/2011/06/22/%23ubuntu-cloud.html ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: cloud-init 0.6.1-0ubuntu9 ProcVersionSignature: User Name 3.0-1.2-virtual 3.0.0-rc3 Uname: Linux 3.0-1-virtual x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed Jun 22 18:22:29 2011 Ec2AMI: ami-0a768e63 Ec2AMIManifest: (unknown) Ec2AvailabilityZone: us-east-1b Ec2InstanceType: t1.micro Ec2Kernel: aki-427d952b Ec2Ramdisk: unavailable PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: cloud-init UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: cloud-init (Ubuntu) Importance: High Status: Confirmed ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug ec2-images oneiric -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to cloud-init in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/800824 Title: cloud-init-nonet times out in lxc To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cloud-init/+bug/800824/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 799630] Re: package drbd8-source 2:8.3.7-1ubuntu2.1 failed to install/upgrade: drbd8 kernel module failed to build
DRBD is included in the mainline kernel as of 2.6.33, this failure is likely due to the fact the module is being built against a kernel that already includes DRBD. Edward- Without installing drbd8-source, does 'modprobe drbd' succeed? If so, you no longer need the drbd8-source package to be built and installed and only need the userspace utilities. The drbd8-utils should work for you, but its better to have a userspace version that matches the kernel components or you'll see noisy errors and may run into unsupported features. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to drbd8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/799630 Title: package drbd8-source 2:8.3.7-1ubuntu2.1 failed to install/upgrade: drbd8 kernel module failed to build To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/drbd8/+bug/799630/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 623438] Re: Font size not correct in merged sandvich PDF
I'm having similar issue. I can confirm that it is not related to Cuneiform. [Bug 799202] Re: wacom stylus jumps with latest xserver-xorg-core
I believe I found the cause of this regression. The wacom tablet sometimes sends button presses on one of the X devices that does not emit (or has not emitted yet) traditional X and Y coordinates. This confuses the server due to masked valuators and coordinate transformation. The fix is to not generate and propagate any coordinate changes if the incoming event does not have any coordinate changes.
