What does it take to get telepathy-gabble updated to 0.16.1 in Ubuntu
12.04? The Windows Live connection issues are fixed now (see

users are still without Windows Live for several months.

manager to decorate this window seems to make Compiz a little less
glitchy, but still crashes.

This also appears to be necessary to allow mdns to actually work as
advertised for several versions of Ubuntu. I couldn't get my two local
computers to resolve to each other with 'ping' or 'host' by name until
this package was installed.
All 'avahi-resolve' would do is return the ipv6 addresses

Ok, that's it. Installing Windows. That was the last straw of stupidity
that I can take from this half-baked development system. As much as I
hate Windows, at least they haven't pushed an update to the users that
brakes THE ACTUAL FUCKING UPDATER, THUS BLOCKING all possible updates

So it works perfectly now. The main problem was a missing file. But I
think that it should only show a warning, no a fatal breaking all
updmap-sys and breaking also the post-installation. That is a
SPOF(Single Point Of Failure) and it is not weird that somebody get the
same error on a future.

So I used to have complete system freezes as well. I used to think it
was tied to video card drivers, but then after several complete
reinstalls of Ubuntu 12.04 I found the cause of the problem, at least
for me.
I run a 64 bit AMD (1.6 dual core) laptop with Windows 7 and Ubuntu

Title:
ubuntu 12.04 completely freezes
So the whole world is moving to TLS 1.1 and 1.2, and Evernote's server
isn't compatible. How is this a Ubuntu bug?
What do you propose we do? Disable TLS 1.1 and 1.2, which will prevent
Ubuntu from working with newer sites that will start requiring it, just
to fix Evernote's broken server?

I can confirm it works properly in 11.04. I don't have any other Ubuntu
installations to test at this time.

I am not able to reproduce with a updated Quantal on just starting the
programm. It comes up.
If you are still able to hit the seqfault, please attach a (legal)
.torrent for reproducing and give a step by step description for
reproducing(think of a begiiner in this program when you are writing).
Sorry, I meant to report the bug upstream but had little time and days
passed by. Thank to Sebastien for reporting it, great to see it already
fixed!
