This appears to be a compatibility problem with logrotate.
The Debian wheezy version of logrotate appears to support this.

tvtime that can set the channel on the tuner device (since VLC has no channel
changer in its interface). Once I run that I have a clear picture again.

Recently when I went to add a ppa, I used the Software Sources, and
clicked add. In the dialog that popped up, I saw that there was an
error in the description of what to do within the dialog. The attached
