[Bug 918896] Re: returns no data from SQL server
distribution package python-pymssql 1.0.2+dfsg-1 for amd64 architecture in raring (Ubuntu 13.04) still does the very same. I have previously compiled the sources downloaded from http://code.google.com/p/pymssql/downloads/detail?name=pymssql-2.0.0b1-dev-20111019.tar.gz&can=2&q= and set PYTHONPATH environment variable to point also to the folders containing the so binaries. By doing so it works for me. (I just realized there is a newer tarball http://code.google.com/p/pymssql/downloads/detail?name=pymssql-2.0.0b1-dev-20130403.tar.gz&can=2&q= same version number, but have not tested that one yet.) note also another problem with the pymssql shipped with distro, though you get an empty result, the nextresult() method of the cursor will always return True, so you can easily jump in an endless loop -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/918896 Title: returns no data from SQL server To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pymssql/+bug/918896/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: The installation instructions for Ubuntu to a sandisk on a UEFI system simply don't exist in any meaningful way and it simply doesn't work. [Bug 1190805] Re: viewing webpage crashes ubuntu
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode. To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1190805/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package. [Bug 1190827] Re: After upgrade, System Crash; lost entire HDD, BIOS reports no HDD
To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1190827/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package. [Bug 1189942] Re: Please merge albatross 1.36-5.5 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)
Your remaining diff is: * Set X-Python-Version: >=2.5 - That's an optional field and is unnecessary since both Debian & Ubuntu have Python 2.7 as the default Python (and there won't be a newer major Python 2 release). * Break python-albatross-common (<< 1.36-5.4ubuntu2) - That version was shipped before the most recent LTS and we do not support upgrades from pre-Ubuntu 12.04 LTS unless you upgrade to 12.04 LTS first. We can drop both of those changes. However, there's one more change (from 1.36-5.4ubuntu2) that seems necessary to actually build this package in Ubuntu. [Bug 1190776] Re: Via VT6421a PCI SATA controller not working under Linux 3.8
For maximal strangeness, it would appear that this card somehow interferes with my sound card: while it is installed, I get a very peculiar "atiixp: codec read timeout" error on boot, and my sound card is not visible in the configuration pane.
