@ockels (ockels): Ubuntu's latest updates have switched the init system
from Upstart to Systemd but it does not seem to enable the sddm service
on start. The solution is to enter the following command:
sudo systemctl enable sddm.service -f
sudo reboot

--quit and then running it again. I ran --enable-debug and got this:

regarding this being fixed with an update. For future reference you can
manage the status of your own bugs by clicking on the current status in
the yellow line
I still experience this problem in trusty when
1) mount encrypted USB disk
2) suspend
3) unplug USB disk
4) wake up
5) plug in USB disk
6) try to mount again and answer the password prompt

Hi, also confirm the problem on UX303LA with 205 BIOS.
dmidecode -s bios-version
UX303LAB.205
evtest or acpi_listen don't show keypress on FN+F5/F6 (interestingly F3
and F4 are captured and are controling not existing keyboard backlight
in this model).
Kernel 3.16.0-33-generic with acpi_osi=
We can not do anything at distribution level, closing the bug at best.
It would be best to contact the two upstream projects to find a
compromise on a single version if possible.
