(MacBookPro10,2). I have discovered that things work better when using
the b43 module instead of wl to drive the wireless:
sudo rmmod wl ; sudo modprobe b43
However, this workaround makes the 5GHz networks disappear from my list.

Well the bottom edge hint disappears after a couple of seconds when
going fullscreen. It’s only a hint, it doesn’t mean that the actual

I had a similar problem with Ubuntu 14.04.2 and Gnome. The upper Toolbar
was missing. Following a suggestion by Liviu Andronic I changed the
Desktop Environement to Xfce and the problem disappeared.

I had a similar problem on Ubuntu 14 in GNOME . Only the standard font
size 12 was accepted. However, after export in eps the size was correct.
The solution is: change the deasktop environment to Xfce.
