I'm having the same issue. My touchscreen is detected and shows up when
checking lsusb, xinput_calibrator, xinput --list, and dmesg -- all with
no errors that I can see. In tens of hours of searching, building
kernels, patching modules/drivers, downloading drivers, tools and other
distros nothing
I'm not sure if this bumps the bug or not, but this exact same issue
still exists on Ubuntu 15.10. :(

Wireless
I now installed only ubuntu-gnome-default-settings on a second PC with
the same problem and changed back to gdm. It worked there as well. So a
fix for this problem seems to be contained in this packet.

Intel broadwell UMA graphics
Intel SKL-H graphics
Intel SKL-U graphics
Graphics functions are passed except on video out function with SKL-U
