There doesn't appear to be a way to be notified of unmount attempts at
the moment. There is an fschange modification about ten years ago
(http://stefan.buettcher.org/cs/fschange/), but that never made it into
the kernel.
It looks like it's impossible for mediascanner to automatically back off

So my boot space is constantly full as well. I am running Ubuntu Mate
16.04. At this point even doing sudo purge-old-kernels doesn't work
because the kernel is so big that 250mb is not even enough room more
than 2 kernels. My suggestion to fix this is to have the boot drive

I've worked around this by using a bind mount instead of a symlink.
Something like 'sudo mount --rbind /run/media/daboross/external/deja-
dup-cache ~/.cache/deja-dup' works. While I do have to re-do this every
time I mount the external drive and start a backup, it at least works.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears
to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as
I even returned from rc-proposed to stable channel, currently on OTA-14 and
still affected. I reflashed my phone to come back to stable channel.

Bugs,
I do agree that, since PCS can manage an existing installed cluster - I
haven't considered this for all my previous posts/comments/patches - PCS
installation should NOT try to take care of corosync/pacemaker files.
Whoever is dealing with PCS has to handle it properly AFTER
installation. Argument
