I tried this with 4.10.0-14-generic and could not reproduce your issue.
Please try updating and see if you still experience this issue.
Run-time addresses are expected to be unpredictable due to ASLR.

Public bug reported:
PiTiVi 0.95-1 man says there is a debug option (I interpret it is a trace tool)

To take away even more confusion, I just learned that even 16.04.2

Title:
package cups-daemon
** Description changed:
Multi-channel reads from IIO based st_sensors (st_pressure and st_accel)
drivers fails to report correct results through the devfs
(/dev/iio:deviceX) interface.
Dell IoT gateways have sensors which uses IIO kernel drivers to read
- values from ST accelerometers
Is there anything to fix in src:systemd? as far as I can see everything
is correct:
$ dpkg -L libudev-dev | grep -e '\.pc' -e '\.so'
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/pkgconfig/libudev.pc
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libudev.so
And yes the .so is symlink to a file in /lib location:
$ ls -latr
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
