I expect the IP address with the machine with Ubuntu-MATE to show up. I tested this with other machines and operating systems and those still returned an IP address when issued arp-scan --localnet. The Ubuntu-MATE machine was the only one which didn't. open-iscsi (2.0.874-4ubuntu1) artful; urgency=medium * Merge with Debian unstable. Integrates with resolvconf and initramfs code that writes /run/initramfs/open-iscsi.interface - debian/open-iscsi.maintscript: clean up the obsolete iscsi-network-interface upstart job, file on upgrade. - Let iscsid systemd job run in privileged containers but not in unprivileged ones - Start open-iscsi systemd job when either /etc/iscsi/nodes or /sys/class/iscsi_session have content Based on patch by Nish Aravamudan, thanks! (LP #1576341) - add IPv6 support + add support for IPV6{DOMAINSEARCH,DNS0,DNS1} to net-interface-handler LP #1621507 + Source /run/net6-*.conf when needed. + debian/extra/initramfs.local-top: handle IPv6 configs being shipped in DEVICE6 or /run/net6-*.conf in the initramfs, so we can fill in /run/initramfs/open-iscsi.interface (LP #1621507) * Drop: - d/extra/initramfs.local-top: When booting from iBFT, set the PROTO= entry in /run/net-*.conf accordingly, so that other tools, such as cloud-init, can use that information. (cloud-init fails if the current PROTO=none is used.) (LP: #1684039) (Closes: #866213) [ Fixed in Debian 2.0.874-4 ] * d/t/test-open-iscsi.py: drop test_daemon test - With the updates to the systemd units, the services do not run unless iSCSI is configured. -- Nishanth Aravamudan Tue, 08 Aug 2017 16:16:27 -0700 ** Changed in: open-iscsi (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Committed => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1576341 Title: systemd in degraded state on startup in LXD containers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lvm2/+bug/1576341/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Here's a debdiff[1] that I have tested and mitigate the situation with the reproducer using VirtualBox. The proposal patch integrate a custom "debian/cups-daemon.prerm" maintainer script in case the pre-removal "old-version" from the installed package fails (as seen using the above reproducer) and then switch to the pre-removal script from the "new version" from the package to-be install in order to stop cups.socket and cups.path indivually before #DEBHELPER#. [Bug 1711483] Re: Crackling sound after resuming from suspend
I checked in Firefox 55, which routes all audio via PulseAudio, and sound is perfect. There may be a problem between chromium-browser and pulseaudio. ** Description changed: PulseAudio exhibits abnormal behavior after resuming from suspend: - Crackling sound present during HTML5 video playback in browsers (Chromium, Firefox, Chrome). + Crackling sound present during HTML5 video playback in Chromium 60. I tried adding tsched=0 to load-module module-udev-detect in /etc/pulse/default.pa, and it didn't work. I slightly increased fragment number and size in /etc/pulse/daemon.conf, didn't work either. Before suspending, multiple sound sources can be handled without problems nor audible noise. [Bug 1711754] [NEW] Crackling sound from HTML5 video while routing sound through PulseAudio
Public bug reported: All HTML5 videos watched in Chromium, using PulseAudio as session-wide audio daemon, begin to crackle, as if there were audio buffer underruns. Apropos the CVE's all of these have been completely addressed in past PCP releases. CVE-2012-5530 - fixed in PCP 3.6.10 (released 19 Nov 2012) CVE-2012-3421, CVE-2012-3420, CVE-2012-3419 and CVE-2012-3418 - all fixed in PCP 3.6.5 (released 16 Aug 2012) CVE-2001-0823 - fixed in PCP 2.2.1 (released 21 Jun 2001) I am in agreement with Frank, that we'd really like to see some specific issues identified that are barriers to inclusion of PCP in main. If we had this list we're more than happy to work through them ... based on 20+ years of experience with PCP development and deployment in many big and ugly environments, I am confident that most of them will turn out to be false positives, others can be fixed. The fix in bug 1679252 uses LB_PARENT_MIRROR_BINARY_SECURITY for security lines (where currently trusty uses LB_PARENT_MIRROR_BINARY; I don't _think_ this should work because LB_PARENT_MIRROR_BINARY is used for the other sources.list lines which are fine, but it's worth a try. [Bug 1711735] Re: source.list for armhf includes trusty-security which does not exist for arm
This was fixed for xenial in bug 1513529 and bug 1679252. (Specifically, the former refactored sources.list generation significantly and in a way which broke non-x86 architectures, and the latter remedied that.) Unfortunately, the changes to sources.list generation were fairly major, so I don't think it would be appropriate to pull them all the way back to trusty; we should find a less invasive fix. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1711735 Title: source.list for armhf includes trusty-security which does not exist for arm To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-images/+bug/1711735/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1711735] Re: source.list for armhf includes trusty-security which does not exist for arm
I can confirm that this is happening, and it's in the output that comes from the buildds, so it's a livecd-rootfs/live-build bug. [Bug 1711748] [NEW] Sync chef 12.14.60-3 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)
Public bug reported: Please sync chef 12.14.60-3 (universe) from Debian unstable (main) Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped: Stefano Rivera pushed his changes in Ubuntu to Debian, and of course I fixed the net-ssh incompatibility. There is no Delta. Changelog entries since current artful version 12.14.60-2ubuntu5: chef (12.14.60-3) unstable; urgency=medium * Team upload. (Patch from Ubuntu, Closes: #798618) * Unset http[s]_proxy in the subversion spec, so it doesn't alter generated subversion commands.
