This issue is not that Juju breaks when a new series is released. The
problem is that Juju defaults to using the latest LTS as the series for
which to bring up machines if none is specified by the user. If bionic
becomes the latest LTS, Juju will try and find agent binaries to match.

It I can add, for the Logitech G930 Headset, it also gets the similar

Strange, the patched driver works perfectly for me. I'm on kernel
4.13.8, maybe that has something to do with it.

to change the Keyboard input method system to IBus, followed by a system

Hello Aleksandr,
I believe this is expected behaviour: when a GUI program is suspended,
the GUI cannot respond to events. Running 'fg' or 'bg' in the shell will
cause it to resume, and respond to clicks.

I do not want to add any further patches to Debian's screen package
which makes it differ from upstream behaviour more than it already does.
(Of course, it's a different thing if issues are caused by existing
patches.)
And IMHO workarounds for issues in other packages do not belong into
